COVID-19 CLINIC UPDATE
Things are changing by the minute with the release of new data surrounding COVID-19, and we have been mandated by the BC Health Officer and the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia, to only serve patients on an acute/essential-service basis.
What exactly does that mean for you? The following defines those still able to seek care at our clinic:
“The patient has an acute condition that, without care, would severely limit him or her from activities of daily living, and (or the patient has an acute condition that requires immediate attention to relieve pain or because his or her daily activities are severely limited)”
I understand this is a trying time for everyone, but the best defense as always (in addition to washing hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds, and following physical distancing protocol), is to optimize your physical, chemical and emotional stress levels. This simply means move the body, eat a very healthy diet, and reduce mental stress (sleep, keep positive, and do things that make you happy).
We will be open for acute / essential care by appointment on Monday 8-12, Wednesday 3-6 and Friday 8-12. We will try to get to your messages asap, but apologize for any delays you may encounter.
Yours in Health,
Sue Ironside BSc, DC
